JOB SUMMARY:

Greet customers in a courteous, friendly manner. Prepares tables for service by clearing, wiping surface areas clean, resetting silverware in an expedient and proper manner Work as a team with other employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing our customers with prompt, friendly and expedient service.
Provide our guests an entertaining experience and enriching work environment for our team.
Responsible for adhering to the five personal service standards set forth in your superior Customer Service manual.
Practice exemplary service to include greeting customers, smiling, being friendly and outgoing at all times.
Bus dishes, glasses and flatware from tables in a safe and timely manner.
Assist servers with table service delivering and replenishing beverages.
Assist in keeping the service area and dining area clean as you go.
Follow safety and sanitation regulations for state and federal laws.
Follow cleaning procedures for equipment.
Treat equipment with respect and care.
Performs other related duties as required.
Report to management immediately any equipment in need of repairs.
Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, and count units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

No computer skills are necessary for this position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

The following trainings will be offered post-employment and are required within the training schedule timeframe: Title 31, ServSafe, sexual harassment prevention, ladder safety, PPE, safety orientation for foodservice, safety orientation, electrical safety, back safety, hazard communication and office ergonomics.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
