Supervise Guest Safety Officers and their respective shifts ensuring the safety and proper security of the Casino, surrounding areas and customer facilities.
• Responsible for providing our customers with prompt, friendly and superior customer service while providing an enriching work environment for our team.
• Check and issue radios, badges and equipment needed for their shift.
• Inform the Shift Manager and Surveillance of all incidents and assist with all decisions that arise during an emergency situation.
• Take charge until emergency personnel arrive. Keep Surveillance informed during all emergencies.
• Assist emergency personnel as requested or required.
• Write all applicable reports including but not limited to end of shift reports, exclusions and incident reports,
• Must be present at the Key Watcher any time dual access is required and high security keys are removed.
• Ensure a safe orderly flow of customers in and out of the Casino.
• Provide parking lot security for the protection of customers and their vehicles.
• Serve as public relations representative to Casino patrons.
• Learn and know locations of all emergency items, kits and meeting areas.
• Provide emergency services to anyone taken ill or injured until professional assistance arrives.
• Provide first aid as appropriate.
• Learn and know radio functions, codes, department numbers and machine bank locations.
• Respond to radio calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain the parking lot in a clean, litter-free condition.
• Assure the front door and casino floor areas are kept clean and neat.
• Assist other departments in moving delivered goods to their designated areas.
• Verify all incoming/outgoing deliveries.
• Attend to incidents through investigation and complete all reports and forms required.
• Complete fills and credits for table games as directed and in absolute accordance with policies and procedures.
• Provide security for slot machine entries, drop and transport of money.
• Drive employees and guests from and too the upper lot on busy nights.
• Performs property checks at Tribal Office and surrounding entities to report any unusual activity.
• Utilize military time for all processes.
• Document Lost and Found Items and store for safekeeping.
• Verify ID’s for incoming Patrons.
• Secure restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of visitors including issuing visitor badges.
• Review and understand all Policies, Procedures, SICs and TMIC’s.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Assists department manager and supervisor in absence of the department manager.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. This includes the ability to write communicative correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Visually analyze various capacities of proportions, distances, and frequencies.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and suggest a plan of action as necessary.
