Marketing Manager
Non-Exempt
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible as assisting with the implementation and tracking of all Marketing programs, coupons and promotions. This position is also responsible for developing customer loyalty and generating incremental incentives by players to support the revenue goals of the Casino. This position will also work in coordination with the Marketing Manager on entertainment events as well as the Food and Beverage Manager on catering events. This position interacts with all casino departments.
Assists the Marketing Manager on a daily basis.
Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Casino’s marketing activities.
Interacts with guests throughout the casino to increase their awareness and utilization of the Slot Club Card.
Assist with the design and development of all player incentives and special services in conjunction with the use of a computerized database player-monitoring program.
Establish or recommends procedures for documentation and record keeping of all player activities and casino guests.
Monitors Slot Club activity to ensure customer satisfaction and ensures that player incentive programs and special services are in compliance with all required regulatory, departmental and governing policies.
Responsible for the implementation and operation of all casino promotions, special events, entertainment functions, catering events, and community events.
Responsible to communicate promotion details internally to all casino personnel in order to ensure optimal customer service.
Maintains an accurate inventory of all marketing supplies and merchandise.
Accurately follows procedures associated with tracking casino promotions and events.
Establish and maintain effective channels of communication upward, downward and laterally.
Conducts self, always, in a manner that reflects and encourages others to do the same.
Flexibility with schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present and provide information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, tips, and return on cash transactions.
Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of uncertain variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret, communicate, and delegate instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and suggest a plan of action as necessary.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet, Microsoft Outlook e-mail. Must type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Player Tracking systems knowledge preferred.
