Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to bar patrons by performing the following duties.
• Responsible for providing our customers with prompt and friendly service.
• Takes beverage/food orders from customers or Food server.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
• Collects money for drinks served.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Takes food orders and serves food in the main dining room and behind bar.
• Follow portion control procedures.
• Follow directions from Food and Beverage Manager.
• Set up, tend and break down satellite bar in events center and large community center.
• Report and document 100% of tips earned accurately.
• Report to management immediately, any incidents with customers.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Knowledge mixing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks/bartending.

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. This includes the ability to write communicative correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, tips, and return on cash transactions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
No computer skills are necessary for this position
