This position interacts with customers on a daily basis practicing exemplary customer service defined as greeting the customers with a smile and satisfying any of their needs. This position will be required to be either a Cashier in the Cage or on the Floor. Must handle all cage transactions, floor transactions and promotional in a proper and efficient manner following prescribed policies and procedures of the Casino. o Duties and Responsibilities
o Conduct self always in a manner that reflects and encourages others to do the same.
o Must be well groomed, friendly and helpful while maintaining a professional appearance, manner and attitude.
o Circulate and walk up and down aisles in machine areas and attend to each guest's needs.
o Must be able to be on feet for eight hours and successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
o Assist Casino staff in keeping areas clean around machines and gaming tables.
o Ability to communicate effectively with any customer and casino employees at all levels.
o Provide the service of serving drinks, taking food orders, cashing machine vouchers, making change to Casino customer’s when working on the gaming floor.
o Enroll new customers in the Casino Players Club.
o Keep all workstations clean and stocked at all times; Cage and Drink station included.
o Must have basic knowledge of all games and machines within the Casino.
o Must radio a technician as needed due to customer needs or machine needs. (Paperfills, Jams, Malfunctions or Jackpots)
o Take coupons and/or digital offers and record information into the computer program or on applicable logs.
o Answer and transfer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
o Cash Handling
o Keep and document accurate records of all the transactions handled.
o Responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash bank.
o Complete the required paperwork to reflect the variance/outcome of handled transactions.
o Verifies opening and closing of banks with other cashiers on duty.
o Issuing and receiving documents with appropriate signatures required for effective segregation of functions in the cage.
o Fills department banks according to Casino standards.
o Ensure that customers sign all required documentation (ie: slot jackpots) must be verified and signed by required management.
o Responsible for understanding and following Title 31 standards.
o Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
o Responsible for complete understanding of all Cash Operations processes including but not limited to all applicable Casino policy and procedures and Casino System of Internal Controls.
o Other duties as assigned by management.
o Customer Service & Marketing
o You are responsible for providing our customers with prompt, friendly and Superior Customer Service.
o To provide our guests an entertaining gaming experience and enriching work environment for our team.
o Able to assist with the implementation of promotions and advertising to increase business.
o Interacts with guests to increase their awareness and utilization of the Points Club Card.
o Assist the Marketing Department with informing the guests on promotional events.

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, tips, and return on cash transactions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
No computer skills are necessary for this position.
