Encourage repeat business.
• Takes and prepare orders from customers.
• Rings up sales on the cash register, accept payments and make change accurately.
• Maintains the Café in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition, which may include washing walls and mopping floors. Also maintaining the lobby area on a regular basis.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workstation at all times.
• Assists in maintaining the Café inventory: restocking cigarettes, condiments, perishables at the end of each shift.
• May prepare food and beverage in advance, if heavy guest volume is expected.
• Reports guest comments to supervisor regarding menu prices, recipes, food quality and related issues.
• Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
• Additional duties as required.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, tips, and return on cash transactions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
