PT Bingo Paymaster $16.50-$18.70 hr./Tipped Position

JOB SUMMARY:

Distributes banks and pays prizes to floor runners for payment to winners. Tracks all sessions in their entirety and is responsible for collecting all monies derived from the bingo operation and making proper payouts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for providing our customers with prompt and friendly Customer Service to provide our guests an entertaining gaming experience and enriching work environment for our team.
• Keep the main bank in balance.
• Make exchanges with cashiers and runners.
• Receive and verify the revenues from cashiers and floor runners.
• Check the complete cash inventory at the opening and closing of the shift.
• Complete the required paperwork during the shift.
• Make up the banks for floor runners and cashiers.
• Pay out bingo prizes to the floor runners for payout on the floor.
• Monitor the level of bulk bingo cash in the cash drawers, keeping at prescribed levels.
• Check cashiers paperwork as required by the Bingo Manager.
• Balance the bingo cash cage drawers at the end of shift.
• Ensure that customer service at the admission counter meets Casino standards.
• Make sure the bingo cash cage has all required forms necessary for operation.
• Perform other duties as required by the Bingo Manager or General Manager.
• Keep cage clean and organized.
• Work secondary job relief in all Bingo positions as necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, tips, and return on cash transactions.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

No computer skills are necessary for this position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

Must qualify for and maintain an Elk Valley Rancheria Gaming license.

The following trainings will be offered post-employment and are required within the training schedule timeframe: Title 31, sexual harassment prevention, safety orientation, hazard communication, bloodborne pathogens, cyber security and office ergonomics.
