The year 2002 was an exciting time for the Tribe as they began work on a new administrative facility built to house a 2,000 square foot library. The Tribe applied and received a $76,941 enhancement grant through IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services) to furnish the new facility. In August of 2003, the Library moved from their small one room office to their new facility.
The library is open to the general public; and the collections include 600+ titles, numerous periodicals, videos, books, and news articles showcasing Native American culture. The library also includes a small artifacts display museum. In the past several years, the library has taken the task of updating and automating with the new technologies. These technologies include a fully automated card catalog system.
